Santander IT grant

The grant will pay for an IT tutor to run basic and intermediate classes at Brockworth Library on a weekly basis for the course of a year.

Nina Walsh, Chair of Brockworth Community Project said: “We were absolutely delighted to receive the grant from Santander Foundation, as we shall be able to offer a vital opportunity to the members of the local community to improve IT skills. It was a very generous grant and everyone at the Project is grateful for the support and encouragement given by Santander Foundation to our charity. Thank you!”

Amy Slack, Manager at the Santander Foundation said: “The Santander Foundation makes hundreds of donations every year to good causes throughout the UK. Our branch is committed to playing a key part in the community and we are delighted to be supporting Brockworth Community Project, and hope the donation makes a real difference to local people.”

Brockworth Community Library Refurbishment

Brockworth Community Project has recently been awarded a grant from Gloucestershire Environmental Trust. This grant has enabled the Project to undertake some building work at the Community Library.
This work has involved moving the kitchen to a new location within the building and completely refurbishing it with new units, flooring and decoration.
Two cloakrooms have been upgraded, a new store room has been created and access to all these new rooms has been improved.
The trustees of Brockworth Community Project are extremely grateful to Gloucestershire Environmental Trust for their support and generosity.
Pictures of refurbishment to follow shortly…

Developments at Brockworth Community Project

The latest development from Brockworth Community Project is to rename our building, offering services to the community.
The building will now be known as The Link @ Brockworth and from this building we will continue to offer all our previous services.
Do come along and use our library, IT Suite, music groups, language groups and many many more.
Come and meet our friendly staff and link with your community.

Developments at Brockworth Community Project

During the last few months, we have been busy making alterations to the layout of the building. The Project’s office has been moved to the front of the building, into the room that had been used for storage and meetings. The old office space has been completely redeveloped thanks to a capital grant from Tewkesbury Borough Council and is now being rented to Cornerstone Church.
Cornerstone Church will be having their official launch on 23rd April 2015.

Other exciting developments include the refurbishment of the IT Suite which took place at the end of last year.
