We wanted to share our great news with users of our community library. From 29th March 2021, a major refurbishment begins at the library. This refurbishment should last approx. 6-8 weeks. The library and the charity offices will be completely renovated and catapulted into the 21st century. Whilst this change is taking place, Brockworth Library and the charity office will relocate to within Brockworth Community Centre. The Parish Council have very generously offered space in order for the library to continue to provide a service to the community.
From 12th April, 2021, you will be able to find the library operating in the entrance lobby of the community centre, during the following hours:
- Monday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
- Tuesday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
- Wednesday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
- Thursday: 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm
No phone line to Brockworth Link or the library will be available, please contact us via email on office@brockworthlink.org.uk or see Annie in the reception area.
You will find Annie Fuller in reception, receiving and issuing library books.
Monica, our General Manager, will be located in the Youth Centre office, should you need her.
The range of books on offer is limited, as most of our stock has had to go into storage. We hope you will find what you need for a few weeks. During this time, we will not be able to process any book reservations.
We will regularly update you on how the refurbishment is going.
Thank you for your patience and we hope you are as excited about this as we are!
