Meet the Team

Charlotte Mills ‘Char’ Youth Manager

I am the Manager of the Youth Club for Brockworth Link and I have been here 19 years. I am very privileged to be a mum of two and a pet mum.  I really enjoy to see young people thrive and strive towards their potentials.

I love to run workshops in cooking and dance and current issues affecting young people to help.  My likes include Horse Riding, Music, football, rugby and Crafting. My dislikes include being cold & PC Gaming unless it’s the classic COD- Nuke town / Pokémon and of course bad manners.

Daniel Wakeman (Dan) Youth Supervisor

I Have been a youth worker for Brockworth Youth Club for 4 years and I like to see the youth of the village connect and build friendships. I love football, Basketball and playing board games. I dislike loud screaming and people not tidying up after themselves.

Nina Beard

My name is Nina , I work with a mix of sessions I like engaging with people , love Animals, arts and crafts, singing and cooking.
Dislikes include Snakes, spiders, ants, oh and most importantly negativity.

James Aldridge (Jama)

Hi I am Jama I have been a youth worker for 20 plus years both centre based and detached.  I think its vital young people have a safe space and have the opportunity to talk openly without being judged. I love football, live music, travelling and being outdoors. My dislikes include garlic bread and people who don’t listen and Arsenal Fans.

Ollie Iddon

Hi I am Ollie, I am a dad and I work at Gl3 and I love to game, cook, days out and I like play football with youth. My dislikes include excessive noise and when people talk over each other.

Lea Stephens

Hi I am Lea mum of 3. I work at a nursery currently but have worked as a 1:1 Ta at primary schools. I also used to help run Mum support groups for early years as well as baby groups. I enjoy crafting, nature and all things weird and wonderful. I love organising events. I am really enjoying my New role as the youth lead in GL3 and look forward to the year ahead getting to know all the children.

Matt Tradgett

My name’s Matthew Tradgett and I live in Brockworth. I have been here for over 6 years and started volunteering for the youth club and am now currently employed. I have a wife and two children, so most of my time is spent with them and we all really enjoy being together. I have a part time job working as a furniture maker and also take on commissions for my own business. I try to make meditation and exercise as my daily routine. I enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I meet up with friends and family regularly and look for new experiences to enrich our lives and relationships.

Debbie Harwood

I am now a volunteer with the youth club after working here for over twenty years. My likes include crafting, cooking flowers and helping young people become good citizens. My dislikes include bullying and inequality.

Lorraine Roberts

I am a mum and I love to cook and organize things. I also love animals. My favorite night to help out is girl’s night it’s great to see the young people learn whilst having fun. Dislikes include any type of bullying and people not waiting their turn for things.

John Gilbert

I am a father of one and love to see children learn and develop new skills or interests, and become their own person. I enjoy spending time outside, keeping fit and healthy, gardening, and anything to do with technology. I believe in giving people what they need to thrive and treating people with kindness.
